The Project Payment Process
Step 1 - Proposal
A work outline or proposal is sent for your approval
Step 2 - Contract
Step 3 - Down-payment
The down-payment invoice is sent out through Square (if applicable)
Step 4 - Work Starts
A work outline or proposal is sent for your approval
Step 5 - Payment B
If you’ve chosen a down-payment option with a second down-payment, it will be invoiced here. Work then continues.
Step 6 - First Full Preview
Once the first major round is completed, you’ll be presented with the full results on a “stage” website for review.
Step 7 - Revisions
I will work on any in-scope revisions from your feedback (with any other adjustments to be negotiated separately), then return to Step 6 to preview.
Step 8 - Final Payment
Once you’re 100% happy with the end result, we’ll move on to invoicing for the final payment.
Step 9 - Launch
Once the final payment has fully cleared, I will work with you to get the website set up on your hosting. If you don’t have hosting, please let me know and I can offer a range of options depending on the anticipated level of visitors!
Step 10 - Post-Launch Steps / SEO
Depending on the post-launch steps selected during the proposal process, I’ll then work on finalizing services (such as SEO, search engine submission and setup, or website verification, etc) that need to happen after launch.
